Construction commences on Fire Station No. 2

The new replacement fire station for the City of Welland has formally begun.

Located at 636 King Street, the new 6,800 sq ft. fire station will be constructed directly behind the existing station.

KMAI is the architect on a design-build team with Mettko Construction.

Working as part of a collaborative LEAN construction process, the new fire station will be operational 24/7 and feature three drive-thru bays along with amenity facilities for fire station staff.
