Jonathan Kearns, Deborah Byrne and Kelly Fisher are speaking at The Buildings Show, in December in a session called “Creating a Passive House Standard Building from A-Z.”
Ever wondered what a Passive House (PH) project entails? Understanding the PH project process will better equip your team for your next project, whether you are building owner, architect, sub-consultant or in the construction industry. The session will begin by addressing the RFP rated criteria and procurement process, and continue to the Integrated Design Process: who should be involved and when, as well as an overview of Front End Engineering Design [FEED] including integrated value engineering, thermal bridge risks and PH construction detailing process, construction rigor and cost, and commissioning. The speakers will walk you through the Passive House steps, identify the client, builder, consultants and designers roles and responsibilities to facilitate the build process, the different phases of a PH project and more.
Their session takes place Wednesday December 4th, from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm, and qualifies attendees for Continuing Education credits.
The Buildings Show Toronto contains: Construct Canada, PM Expo, Homebuilder & Renovator Expo, World of Concrete, and Buildings Connect.
